Star of Texas is the ideal destination for your next friend and family getaway. This home features a large, fully- equipped kitchen and two spacious living and dining areas for your enjoyment. There are also three bedrooms in the main house, comfortably sleeping up to twelve guests. Need lodging for more guests? Follow the path to the unique guest cottage, where you'll find an additional living area, kitchen, full bath, and sleeping space in the loft for four (please inquire about additional fee for use of the guest house).

The inside of the home is relaxing and well-appointed, but you're sure to spend the majority of your time enjoying the outdoor bar, covered gazebo, and riverfront deck, complete with ancient cypress trees shading you from the Hill Country sun. 

Numerous area river outfitters are ready to help you plan your annual river trip, with the closest being about a 4-5 minute walk down the street. From Star of Texas it's also just a short drive to hotspots such as Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Ice House, Gruene Hall and Historic District, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and much, much more.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times is 12 guests and 4 vehicles (16 guests and 5 vehicles when the guest cottage is rented as well). We manage several nearby rental properties and often have staff in the area. Please come and have a good time, but know that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay.
